Former Falcons coach injured in severe storm
Dallas Cowboys scouting assistant Rich Behm was permanently paralyzed from the waist down after his spine was severed and former Falcons coach Joe DeCamillis was also injured during the collapse of the team's tent-like practice structure in a severe storm.
The Cowboys announced Behm was in stable condition at Parkland Hospital on Sunday after surgery to stabilize a fracture to the thoracic spine.
The 33-year-old Behm was among a dozen people hurt in the accident Saturday, and was one of three Cowboys staffers who remained hospitalized.
DeCamillis, 43, the team's special teams coach, sustained a fracture of one of his cervical vertebrae without paralysis. He was in stable condition and scheduled for surgery Monday. He was the Falcons' special teams coach from 1997-2006
Assistant athletic trainer Greg Gaither, 35, had surgery Saturday night to repair a fracture to the tibia and fibula in his right leg. He is expected to be released from the hospital later this week.

In the past 30 Kentucky Derby races, the 10th post position has produced the most winners (Genuine Risk, 1980; Sunny's Halo, 1983; Spend a Buck, 1985; Sunday Silence, 1989; Lil E. Tee, 1992; Giacomo, 2005). Secretariat also started from the 10th post position in 1973.
Remember me?
How could we forget Andruw Jones (below)? Well, he'd probably like to forget last season, when he hit .158 with the Los Angeles Dodgers after leaving the Braves as a free agent. Given another chance this year by the Texas Rangers, Jones is making the most of it, batting .333 with three homers and eight RBIs.
Trivia answer
UGA quarterback John Lastinger turned an option keeper into a 17-yard touchdown run with 3:22 remaining, spoiling Texas' undefeated season and shot at the national title.
